About The Line

The Line is a community forum for English-speaking freedivers around the world. It is a place to share knowledge, ask questions, swap gear advice, and connect with others who hold their breath for fun — or for competition.

Why We Built This

Freediving discussions are scattered across Facebook groups, Reddit threads, Discord servers, and YouTube comment sections. There is no dedicated, well-moderated, long-form forum for the global English-speaking freediving community.

The Line is an attempt to fix that. A focused forum means better search, better archives, and better signal-to-noise ratio than a chat app. We want the knowledge shared here to still be findable years from now.

Who Runs It

The Line was created by Richard, a competitive freediver training at the national level in Poland. It is an independent project, not affiliated with any freediving agency, brand, or governing body.

Moderation

All content posted to The Line is reviewed by an automated system that flags potentially problematic posts. Flagged content is reviewed by a human — the AI does not automatically remove anything. This keeps the forum useful and safe without being heavy-handed.
